Bob Patterson

Bob Patterson, M.P.T., M.B.A., C.A.E.

Executive Vice President/Co-Founder at Briotix Health

Bob Patterson earned his Masters degree in Physical Therapy (M.P.T.) from Mount Saint Mary’s College, CA and a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California Lutheran University.  His specialties in all phases of his didactic training have been domain-specific to Briotix’ current core businesses - injury prevention, technology-enabled risk reduction solutions, rehabilitation science, and best practices in workers’ compensation cost containment.

Early on in his career as a physical therapist, Bob became disillusioned by the occuptional health management and payment systems that lacked the innovation to apply best practices in preventing injuries or optimizing injury recovery through the application of ergonomic best practices.  As a result, in 1993, he founded ALA Ergonomic Resources.  He dissolved that organization in favor of a broader approach afforded through his next startup, Omega Health Systems (OHS).  OHS grew over the years and was rebranded Briotix after it was successfully merged with PreCare in 2014.

Now Bob oversees strategic opportunities for Briotix with an eye on driving cost containment through workforce performance optimization.  His expertise in the disciplines of the health sciences, occupational health and injury prevention, research, and occuptional health management has established Briotix as an enduring and leading national and global player in workforce performance solutions.
